Mr.Sergey ROUBTSOV - came to the circus from sports. He prepared a unique act "Sun of the North". The act takes the spectators to a traditional Russian North Festival where 11 young men in traditional north costumes compete in skills and boldness. Using the northern sledges as a fast track the artistes demonstrate the most difficult acrobatic tricks and jumps: double and triple somersaults, different pirouettes, etc. Further they continue performing similar tricks but synchronously on two parallel tracks. Even the most difficult tricks they perform with easiness since all of them are perfectly trained sportsmen and circus artistes. The Jury of the International Circus Festival in Monte-Carlo awarded this act with "Silver Clown" prize. Recently Sergey Roubtsov prepared another act "Comic teeter board acrobats" where jokes, clownish situation and tricks are combined with serious acrobatic tricks. Similar to their first act this one also is being performed in a very fast tempo and keeps the audience under pressure. The Roubtsovs troupe successfully toured in many countries: Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Italy, Holland, Denmark, France, Chile, Argentina, Australia, Japan, etc.
