"PARALLEL AERIAL TRAPEZE" by the SELIFANOVs
This act was created by Alexandre Selifanov and until now has no similar competitors in the Russian circus. It differs from all other trapeze acts by synchronous parallel performance of the artistes. Simultaneously two acrobats are flying to the hands of two catchers. Like a mirror reflection they are performing somersaults and pirouettes and are reaching the catchers' hands at the same moment.

A part of this complicated aerial work is performed by the artistes under the "black" light. This looks unusual, attractive, but it is very difficult. 8 high-class performers are working in this act. They perform many complicated tricks among which are triple somersaults and a breath-taking fall from under the top of the circus to the safety net, a so called "drop", performed by the girl.

Their hard work and artistic skills have been awarded the Bronze Prize of the International Circus Festival in Rome, Italy, the main Prize at the Circus Festival in Massy, France and the special "Circus Bouglione" prize at the International Circus Festival in Monte-Carlo.

The act successfully toured in many countries of Europe, Asia, South America, in Japan, etc.
